This is such a busy summer for me here in Sacramento! I have been very fortunate to be able to work with some amazing talent and collaborate with fantastic artists. And now I am able to announce that I will be hosting my first workshop in July!
Thats right, I am teaming up with the awesome fantasy artist, Posh Fairytale Couture, to give people the chance to be able to shoot with some wonderful models in her costumes, while learning lighting, how to use strobes, and operate in a photo studio! This workshop is perfect for anyone who has wanted to get into a studio, but has never had access, or felt like the learning curve was way too high!
The classes will begin filling up quick so if you are interested, stay tuned for details! Here are some sample images of what you will be learning to shoot!
Wedding season is back and boy do I have a busy season! Things are gearing up just nicely here for me and to start off, we have the wedding of Drew and Corey!
I met Drew through a mutual friend, who was looking for a wedding photographer. After just a short conversation with these two awesome people, I knew they would be people that I would not only wnat to shoot, but also people that I would want in my life. They have such a fun and care free attitude about life, and are completely head over heels with each other.
They planned out almost a year in advance, so we definitely had some time to get ready for their wedding. You may remember their engagment session that I had done last year in San Francisco, we had such a fun time roaming around the city, taking great shots!
Their wedding was at the Scribner Bend Winery in clarksburg, Ca. This place is so beautiful and an awesome spot to get married at! Definitely check them out for their wine tastings and tour the vineyards. You may even see a roaming white peacock or two while you are there.
Drew looked phenomenal, and Corey was ever so nervous to be with her! Check out the photos below and let me know what you think! I am still booking for 2017, so if you have some dates you need, just let me know. And 2018 is definitely filling up now too!
Recently I had taken the time to learn a new trade in my ever growing knowledge of photography! I was wanting to get more into an editorial, stylized type of head shots. so I started researching the method that would be best for me. I didn't want to do traditional business head shots, because I felt they were so stuffy and didn't give any personality that I wanted to give to my clients. So this new style is different! It allows me to really connect and get to know the clients, and help them grow in their careers!
I guess the best clientele for this kind of photography would be mainly actors, artists, musicians, small business owners. These shots make them seem approachable, and professional. Let me know what you think and if you need a head shot photographer here in the Sacramento area, I am your man!
